It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Isaac Collier announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Tuesday February 24, 2015 at the age of 84. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: John (Bernadette), St. John's, NL, David, St. John's, NL, Donald, St. John's, NL & Eileen (Dave Organ), St. Veronica's, NL; six grandchildren; sister: Laura Gale, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; sister in law: Nellie Collier, St. Alban's, NL, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his children: Anne Marie Scott & Greg Collier; brothers: Sandy & Gerald; sisters: Theresa, Lena, Millie, Violet, Winnie & Mona; parents: David & Julia Collier. The funeral service was held on Saturday February 28, 2015 at 11am at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's with Father Patrick Ousji officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
