It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jessie Norma Rose of Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL, formerly of Gaultois, NL announce her passing at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Monday, April 26, 2021 at the age of 70. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 49 years: Everett J. Rose; children: Shawn (Sheri), Fredericton, NB, Leeanne (Mitchell Skinner), Gaultois, NL & Penny Rose-Arnold, Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL; grandchildren: Zachary, Jason & Courtney; sisters: Beatrice (Hiram Skinner), Burgeo, NL, Marie (Wayne Baggs), St. John’s, NL & Sandra (Brad Durnford), Hermitage, NL; brothers: Douglas Skinner, Gaultois, Clayton Skinner (Marjorie), Paradise, NL & Rodney Skinner (Glenda), Paradise, NL; special workers: Pansy Kendell, Kayla Lushman & Loretta Benoit, as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents: Harold & Caroline Skinner; parents in law: Wilson & Margaret Courtney; sisters in law: Meta Skinner & Edith Baldwin; son in law: Kenneth A. Arnold; grandson: Michael A. Rose. Jessie loved knitting, darts & cards, she was a loyal member of the ACW, Firettes & Lioness. She would always be there in a heartbeat to help in any way she could if she was called upon or needed. Funeral service on Friday May 7, 2011 at 2 pm at Christ Anglican Church, Milltown with Rev. Hubert Vallis officiating. Interment at Christ Anglican Cemetery, Milltown, NL. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
