Marjorie King Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marjorie King announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at the age of 86. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Gerald (Bonnie), Grand Falls-Windsor, NL &Beverley (Melvin Snook), St. Alban’s, NL; grandchildren: Tammy, Mervin, Travis, Jasmine & Lauren; great grandchildren: Kyra, Gracie, Carter, Harper, Myles & Mayson; sister in law: Bertha Strickland, Clarenville, NL; brother in law: Lloyd Kendell, Morrisville, NL; as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Albert; sisters: Myrtle Coombs & Cora Kendell; brothers: Hubert Strickland, Chesley Strickland & Gerald Strickland; parents: John & Hannah Strickland; special niece: Helen Coombs. There will not be any visitation or funeral service. A private interment will take place on Thursday, September 29 at the Anglican Cemetery, Milltown with Rev. Hubert Vallis officiating. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
