After a short battle with pneumonia, Margaret Dollimont passed away at the Health Sciences Complex in St. John’s. Left to mourn her passing are her children: Ernest Dollimont (Linda), Milltown, NL, Theresa Dollimont, Stephenville, NL, Brenda (Russell Riehl), Virginia, USA & Gloria Michael Walbourne), St. John’s, NL; grandchildren: Justin Dollimont (Heidi), Jessica Bennett (Michael), Jillian Dollimont (Brandon), Aaron Dollimont (Joanna), Roen Riehl, Paul Riehl (Lara), Mark Walbourne & Adam Walbourne. Margaret also had the privilege of being great-grandmother to Nathan, Nicholas & Emily Bennett as well as to Jack & Leo Dollimont. Margaret was born in Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL, on August 1, 1932 to Jeremiah Sutton & Amelia (Barnes) Sutton. She spend most of her life in St. Joseph’s Cove where she married George Dollimont and raised their children. However , her last four years spent at Lane’s Retirement Home in St. John’s where she participated in many of the activities offered, surprising us all by playing darts and taking part in bowling. There she made many friends and had many laughs with her roommate Ida. Margaret was predeceased by all of her siblings (Evelyn, Frances, Esmerelda, Pius & Edmund) as well as by her husband George, her daughter Joan and her son Brian. The family would like to thank the staff at Lane’s for the wonderful care they provided for our mother.
