It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rodney William Walsh announce his passing at his home in St. Alban’s, Newfoundland on Tuesday April 8, 2025 at the age of 52. Rodney was the youngest son of William and Elizabeth Walsh born on May 20,1972. He leaves to Mourn with Fond and Loving Memories his brothers: Richard (Jane) Harbour Breton, NL, Callistus (Una) Milltown, NL, Johnny (Alice) Ramea, NL, Robert (Lisa) St. Alban’s, NL, Joseph (Melinda) Pine Creek , AB; sisters: Regina Buffett (Simeon) St. Joseph’s Cove, NL, Maxine Walsh-Dawe (Ralph) Port de Grave, NL, as well as many nieces, nephews , other relations and a large number of friends and co-workers at Cardinal Meats and Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro where he worked as a Millwright/Machinist. Rodney was predeceased by his parents William and Elizabeth Walsh; brother: Melvin; sisters: Marie, Viola & Mary. Funeral service on Monday May 5, 2025 at 2pm at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church with Father Tom Duffenais officiating. Interment at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s, NL. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s, NL
