It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael Hoskins announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Thursday January 1, 2026 at the age of 75. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his son: John Hoskins (Penny), St. John’s, NL; Grandson: Kingsley Hoskins, St. John’s, NL; partner: Theresa Howse, St. Alban’s, NL; brothers: Edmund Hoskins (Alimeta), St. Alban’s, NL & Joseph Jr. Hoskins (Claire), Gatineau, QC; sisters: Rosalind Hayden, St. Alban’s, NL, Doreen Poole, Toronto, ON, Marilyn Sutton (Lisa), Toronto, ON & Ann (Arthur Felix), Ottawa, ON; sister in law: Mary Hoskins, St. John’s, NL, as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers: Elias Hoskins, Kenneth Hoskins & Gerard Hoskins; sister: Frances Dollimont; parents: Joseph & Agnes Hoskins. Funeral service on Monday January 5, 2026 at 1 pm at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's, with Father Tom Duffenais officiating. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's.
