It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Willcott announce his passing at the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, on Monday, March 9, 2026 at the age of 80. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Collette (Randy Willcott), Conception Bay South, NL, Stephen (Wanda), St. Alban's, NL, Dale (Penney), St. Alban's, NL & Bruce (Jennifer), Milltown, NL; grandchildren: Marcus, Michael, Blaise, Justin, Michaela, John & Luke; sister in law: Marjorie Willcott, St. Alban's, NL, as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife: Eileen; brother: Pat Willcott. Funeral service on Thursday March 12, 2026 at 1pm at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's, with Father Tom Duffenais officiating. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
