It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rita Morris announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Monday March 16, 2026 at the age of 88. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Larry Morris; children: Wayne Organ, Medicine Hat, AB, Jane (David Whittle), Halifax, NS, Barbara Organ (Melissa), Foxtrap, NL & John Organ (Sonia), St. Joseph’s Cove, NL; grandchildren: Ryan, Steven, Michelle, Samantha & Nickolas; great –grandchildren: Daxton & Hazel; sisters: Ann Dollimont, Medicine Hat, AB, Margaret Collier, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Susan Baker, Grand Falls-Windsor. She was predeceased by her husband: Nicodemus Organ; daughter: Joan Organ; son: Greg Organ; sister: Eva Collier (Gordon); brothers: Gerard McDonald (Pauline), John McDonald (Maude), Richard McDonald; brothers in law: James Dollimont, Noel Baker, Abraham Organ & Larry Collier. Funeral service on Saturday March 21, 2026 at 1pm at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban’s, with Father Tom Duffenais officiating. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s.
