She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Peggy (Dean Ralph), Glovertown, NL, Hank, Sop’s Arm, NL, Sheila (Ted Williams), Deer Lake, NL, June (Lee Rice), Tiny, ON, Graham (Angela), Fort McMurray, AB, Jacqueline (Donald Pittman), Fort McMurray, AB & Nola (Gordon Pittman), Labrador City, NL; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Shirley Fisher, Mount Pearl, NL, Yvonne Edwards, St. John’s, NL; brother in law: Harold Batt, Lewisporte, NL, as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Charlie; sisters: June Batt, Marjorie Elgar; brother: Ron Elgar; brothers in law: Ken Edwards, Dean Fisher; parents: Charles & Jessie Elgar. Funeral service on Thursday April 2, 2026 at 3pm at Sop’s Arm Pentecostal Church, with Pastor Oscar Parsons officiating. Interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Sop’s Arm. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
