It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maureen Hoskins announce her passing at her residence, St. Alban’s, NL on Monday June 15, 2026 at the age of 85. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Beverly Hoskins (Jeremy), Gander, NL, Kimberly (Fabian Collier), Gander, NL, Rene Hoskins (Roseann), St. Alban’s, NL & Renita Hoskins, Gander, NL; grandchildren: Jonathan, Sabrina, Meagan, Sam & Emma; great –grandchildren: Arthur, Theo & Maeve; sisters: Yvonne Drew, Toronto, ON, Brenda (Robert MacDonald), Toronto, ON & Joan (Quinn McDonald), Conne River, NL; brothers: Junior Drew (Christine), Conne River, NL, Chris Drew (Margaret), St. Alban’s, NL, Rod Drew (Marietta), Conne River, NL, Ken Drew (Genevieve), Conne River, NL, Colin Drew (Gabriella), Conne River, NL, Wayne Drew (Marilynn), Conne, River, NL, Bruce Drew, Conne River, NL & Nelson Drew, Conne River, NL, as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Arthur Hoskins; parents: Frank & Elizabeth Drew. Funeral service on Friday June 19, 2026 at 11am at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban’s, with Father Tom Duffenais officiating. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
