It is with great sadness that the family of the late Philomena Barnes announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the age of 84. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Joan (Wade Parsons), Corner Brook, NL, Estella (Paul Young), St. John's, NL, Germaine Barnes, St. John's, NL, Primus Barnes, St. Alban's, NL, Elizabeth (Brian Peddle), Goobies, NL & Mary Aubrey Witherall), Torbay, NL; grandchildren: Mario, Michael, Gail, Heather, Christopher, Jessica, Grant, Nikita, Brandon, Jared, Tyler & Kyle; great-grandchildren: Leah, Tera & Eliab; daughters in law: Joyce Barnes, St. Albans, NL & Tracy Barnes, Milton, ON; sister: Joan Willcott, Botwood, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: William; sons: Adonis & Glen; sisters: Zeta Snook & Katherine Collier; brothers: Bernard Snook, John Snook, Isadore Snook, Hubert Snook, James Snook, Primus Snook, Henry Snook & Edward Snook; parents: Elizabeth & William Snook. Funeral service on Thursday March 8, 2018 at 3 pm at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's, with Father David Joy officiating. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
