It is with great sadness that the family of the late Martin Farrell announce his passing at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the age of 87. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Wayne (Beth), St. Alban’s, NL, Lucina (Bobby Edmond), Brampton, ON, Wanda (Veikka Puranen), Milton, ON, Martin (Wanda), Mississauga, ON, Louise (Barry Beasley), Penetanguishene, ON, Linus (Yvette), Orangeville, ON, Doreen Locke (Glenn Saunders), St. Alban’s, NL, Audrey Hoskins (Craig Collier), St. Alban’s, NL, Scott (Suzanne), Ottawa, ON, Jason (Jillian), St. John’s, NL & Yvonne, St. Alban’s, NL; daughter in law: Velma, Marystown, NL; son in law: Raymond Hynes, Mississauga, ON; 27 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers: Michael, St. Alban’s, NL & Robert (Margaret), St. Alban’s, NL; sisters: Frances Fewer, Marystown, NL & Muriel Benoit, St. Alban’s, NL; brother in law: Michael Collier, St. Alban’s, NL, as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife: Bernadette; son: Ronald; daughter: Linda Farrell; son in law: Barney Hoskins; grandchildren: Samantha Farrell & Michael Farrell; brothers: Howard & Thomas; sisters: Anne Collier & Joan Kendall. Funeral service on Monday October 15, 2018 at 3pm at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban’s, with Father David Joy officiating. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s.
