Obituary of Harry Strickland

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harry Strickland announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the age of 80. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Dorothy; children: Darlene (Jeffrey Roberts), Hermitage, NL, Jeffery (Robyn Hunter), Sault Ste Marie, ON, Tracy (Duane Brushett), Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL & Harvey King (Jackie), Milltown, NL; grandchildren: Paul Roberts & Julia Brushett; sister in law: Martha Strickland, Milltown, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Jeremiah & Elizabeth Strickland; brother: John; sisters: Mary Frances Matchem & Phyllis Hiscock. Funeral service on Monday January 28, 2019 at 2 pm at Christ Anglican Church, Milltown, with Rev. Hubert Vallis officiating. Interment at Christ Anglican Cemetery, Milltown. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
