It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jerry Barter announce his passing at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Saturday March 16. 2019 at the age of 89. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Allan (Effie), Ramea, NL, Charlie (Florence), Port Au Port East, NL, Emery (Gail), Head of Bay d'Espoir, NL, Sandra (Sandy Organ), St. Joseph's Cove, NL & Delphine (Don Deering), St. John's, NL; grandchildren: Shane (Stacey), Martina (Morley), Miranda (Dean), Martin (Robyn), Stephen & Jarvis; great grandchildren: Tristan, Reid, Alex, Carson, Riley & Maisie;brother in law: Arthur Pink (Viola); sister in law: Shirley (James Baggs) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife: Maggie;  parents: Lavina & Charles; brothers: Alexander, Ira, Hughie & James; sister: Mary. Funeral service on Wednesday March 20, 2019 at 11am at Christ Anglican Church, Milltown with Rev. Hubert Vallis officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
