To: Gertie, and the Pinksen Family
It is with much sadness that we heard of the passing of your Dear Husband, and family member. It was a pleasure to have known Ross over these many years, especially when we came to Sops Arm, and have him greet us so cordially. He was both a relative and good friend.
He leaves you with a legacy of faithful service to HIS LORD, Family and Community.
Be comforted in knowing that He is in the Presence of Jesus waiting for the resurrection of his glorified body. What a Joy and Hope we are given even during the sadness of such loss.
Be assured of our LOVE and Prayers.

Dear Gertie and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during your journey of grief, sadness and heartache. When I think of Ross, one word that comes to mind is “devotion” ... devotion to God, to his family, and to his church. We have all lost a great friend, church leader and community leader. He was always there to help with whatever was needed. His absence will affect us in many ways and for many years. We will miss him so much!
I pray for the peace of God to surround and comfort you. Lean on family and friends for support in the trying days and weeks ahead.
Love, Betty Lou

Gertie, Neil, Byron and Pinksen Families; how can words say what is in our hearts? Remembering the years at home growing up having Ross as our leader in church, Crusaders, CAs, trips to fill a bucket of well water! So many memories come to mind just mentioning his name.
Sending our love and lifting you up in prayer for continued strength as you go through this difficult time.
God continues to call his children home.

Gertie and family, I am so saddened to know that Ross is no longer with us. He made a big impact on a lot of lives and will be missed by all. A man who was always there to help in any way possible. A pillar of the community and his church. Many wonderful memories of a truly great person. I have appreciated the support and help that Ross gave to my family during our struggles with my own fathers illness and the support that he has provided to my mother since dad passed. A steadfast man of faith and compassion. We continue on knowing that they have never truly left us but live on in memory and in heaven forever. My deepest sympathy.

So sorry to hear of His passing. I will always remember Ross’ smile and quiet laugh. He lived his testimony daily. As a child in the church I looked up to Ross as an example to live by. A friendly man and a great man of God. He will be missed but has left a memory that will stand the test of time. My prayers are with Gertie and the family for strength in the days ahead.
