It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Giovannini announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Winsor, NL on Friday February 21, 2020 at the age of 84. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sisters: Carmelita (Bruce Hatter), Rencontre East, NL & Marg (Junior Kearley), Rencontre East, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Adolph & Gertrude Giovannini; stepfather: Albert Oakey; sister: Violet; brother in law: Onslow Hardy; niece: Jackie Mackey; nephew: David Hardy. Funeral service on Monday February 24, 2020 at 1pm at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Rencontre East, with Father David Joy officiating. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Rencontre East. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
