It is with great sadness that the family of the late Claude MacDonald announce his passing at his residence in St. Alban’s, NL on Thursday September 10, 2020 at the age of 62. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Melanie Caines, Calgary, AB, Sara MacDonald, Calgary, AB & Richard MacDonald (Chantelle), Edmonton, AB; grandchildren: Ryder, Sloan & Jacob Felix; brothers: Roger (Beatrice), Calgary, AB & Keith (Molly), St. Alban’s, NL; sisters: Audrey (Bill Kilfoy), Marystown, NL, Helena (Efford Younge), St. Alban’s, NL, Genevieve (Gerard Smith), St. Alban’s, NL & Anita (Fred Hoskins, St. Alban’s, NL, as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Gerald & Elizabeth; brother: Gerald Jr. MacDonald; sisters: Margaret Brushett, Joan Tremblett & Elizabeth Willcott. Due to the government regulations regarding Covid-19 there will be no visitation, funeral mass on October 7, 2020 at 11am with Father Patrick Osuji officiating. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
