It is with great sadness that the family of the late Muriel Benoit announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Tuesday October 20, 2020 at the age of 91. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Madonna (Bhushan Sennik), Mississauga, ON, Richard Benoit, St. Alban’s, NL, Julia Horncastle, St. Alban’s, NL, Genevieve (Peter Tremblett), Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL, Martin Benoit, Cold Lake, AB, Claude Benoit (Cindy), St. Alban’s, NL, Norbert Benoit, St. Alban’s, NL, Clayton Benoit, St. Alban’s, NL & Jacqueline (Paul Young), Codroy Valley, NL; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister: Frances Fewer, Marystown, NL; brothers: Robert Farrell (Margaret), St. Alban’s, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Thomas Benoit; son: Gerard Benoit; sisters Anne Collier & Joan Kendall; brothers: Howard Farrell, Thomas Farrell, Michael Farrell & Martin Farrell. Funeral service on Friday October 23, 2020 at 10:30 am at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban’s with Father Patrick Osuji officiating. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
