It is with great sadness that the family of the late Francis MacNeil announce his passing at the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre, Gander, NL on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at the age of 72. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Linda; children: Melinda (Trevor Finlayson), Fort McMurray, AB & Earl (Jennifer), Fort McMurray, AB; grandchildren: Madison, Mackenzie, Ryker & Riley; brothers: Roderick (Lillian), St. Alban’s, NL, Jerome (Rosalind), St. Albert, AB & Colin (Philomena), St. Alban’s, NL; sisters: Liz (Mike Gaulton), Fort McMurray, AB, Eta (Legouri Gaulton), Labrador City & Mary (Wayne Power), Edmonton, AB; sister in law: Margaret MacNeil, St. Alban’s, NL, as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Frank & Rose; brother: Anthony MacNeil; niece: Rhonda MacNeil sister in law: Genevieve MacNeil. There will not be any public visitation, viewing will be for family and invited guests only. Funeral service on Thursday August 5, 2021 at 2pm at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban’s, with Father Patrick Osuji officiating. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s.
