It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eric Willmott announce his passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Centre, Harbour Breton, NL on Wednesday September 15, 2021 at the age of 87. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Mary; children: Richard (Jean), Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL, David (Kevina), Paradise, NL & Judy (Hopeton Changoo), Brantford, ON; 8 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; brother: Leslie (Minnie), Lewisporte, NL; sisters: Sheila (Aloysius Collier), Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL & Joan Willmott, St. John’s, NL; sisters in law: Blanche Willmott, Hermitage, NL, Eva Willmott, Alberta & Dorothy Willmott, Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL, as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter: Diane Willmott; son: Stephen Willmott; brothers: Henry, Frederick, Henry, Calvin, Herb, Joseph & Sidney; sisters: Sadie Kendell & Evelyn Sutton. The funeral service will be held at a date and time to be announced. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
