It is with great sadness that the family of the late Vera Hill announce her passing at St. Luke’s Home, St. Johns’s, NL on Wednesday December 15, 2021 at the age of 78. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Donald Hill, Dartmouth, NS, Todd Hill, St. John’s, NL & Lisa (Trevor Chassion), Monticello, PE; daughter in law: Denise Hill, Killbride, NL; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters: Susan Drew, St. Alban’s, NL & Frances Howse, Edmonton, AB; brother: Frederick Howse (Alice), St. Alban’s, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son: Rodney; sister: Iris Collier; brothers: Charles Howse, John Howse & Gabe. Funeral service on Monday December 20, 2021 at 10:30am at St. Ignatius R. C. Church St. Alban’s, with Father Patrick Osuji officiating. Interment at the R. C. Cemetery, St. Alban’s.
