Obituary of Edmund Collier

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edmund Collier announce his passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Centre, Harbour Breton, NL on Tuesday March 22, 2022 at the age of 79. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Rose; children: Geneva (Danny Kearley), Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL & Edmund Collier Jr. (Janice), Rothesay, NB; daughter in law: Roxanne Priddle, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; grandchildren: Danielle (Glen), James (Sacha), Morgan, Victoria (Cody), Alex, Logan & Jack; great grandchildren: Jamison, Lucy, Ben, Luke, Connor, Jack, Adalynn & Avery; brothers: Gus (Sue), Paradise, NL, Mike, Bishop’s Falls, NL & Anthony (Katrina), Picton, ON; sisters: Mary Organ, St. Alban’s, NL, Elizabeth Barnes, St. Alban’s, NL, Lynda (Pat Kavanaugh), Dartmouth, NS, Theresa (Mike Macisaac), Dartmouth, NS, Mildred (Ross Kearley), St. Alban’s, NL & Joan (Jeff Sutton), Churchill Falls, NL; sister in law: Sheila Collier. St. Alban’s, NL, as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son; Darrell Collier; brothers: Wilfred Collier & Pat Collier; brothers in law: Cecil Organ & Alfred Barnes; parents: Wallace & Alice Collier. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre and the staff at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Centre, Harbour Breton for their care and compassion for Edmund and the entire family. Funeral service on Saturday March 26, 2022 at 11am at St. Ignatuis Roman Catholic Church, St. Alban’s with Father Patrick Osuji officiating. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
