It is with great sadness that the family of the late Josephine Walsh announce her passing on Thursday April 30, 2015 at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL at the age of 70. She leaves to mourns with fond and loving memories her husband: Joseph; children: Howard (Beatie), St. Alban's, NL, Alban (Derrick), Dartmouth, NS, Joanne (Tom Howse), St. Alban's, NL & Keith (Christa), St. Alban's, NL; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters: Martina (Michael Downey), Codroy Valley, NL, Lillian (Allan Fillatre), Stony Plain, AB, Marcella (Craig Gillis), Lower Sackville, NS; brothers: Robert Quilty (Linda), Jeffrey's, NL, Eric Quilty (Barb), Jeffrey's, NL, Paul Quilty (Trudy), Jeffrey's, NL, Jerome Quilty (Audrey), St. David's, NL, Alban Quilty (Mary), Corner Brook, NL & Phonse Quilty (Wanda), Jeffrey's, NL; sister in law: Karen Quilty, Highlands, NL, as well as a large circle of nieces nephews relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brother: Carl Quilty; daughter in law: Cindy Walsh; parents: Joseph & Honora Quilty. The funeral service was held on Monday May 4, 2015 at 2pm at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's with Father Edward Brophy & Father Eugene Morris officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
