It is with great sadness that the family of the late Albert Hunt announce his passing at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s, NL on Thursday, September 1, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 35 years, Zita Hunt, daughter Chantelle Hunt (Thomas), and son Tyler Hunt (Alexandrea). Also leaving to mourn his brothers and sisters, Clayton (Myrtle) Hunt, Pauline (Jerry) Benoit, Monie (Gerald) Skinner, Lenus (Wanda) Hunt, Christine Andrews, Cathy (Calvin) Simms, Marcella (Derek) Drover, Louis (Lisa) Hunt, Phyllis (Paul) Cox, mother-in-law Elizabeth Collier, nieces, nephews and a large circle of relatives and friends.

He is predeceased by his parents Leonard and Florence Hunt, father-in-law Fintan Collier, and brother-in-law Rodney Andrews.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
