We were so sorry to hear of Norman’s passing. He was such a kind and gentle man and also a great boat builder. I spent many trips with Norman and Dad hunting, fishing and berry picking. He was very knowledgeable in all these outdoor activities. Norman was a quiet man but shared lots of stories and laughs during our boil ups in the woods. I’ll cherish those great memories for the rest of my life.
Sending our sincere condolences to Aggie and all the Barnes family.

To the family of Norman Barnes we extend our deepest sympathy on your very sad loss. We know the depth of your love for your husband, father, father-in-law, and grandfather, Norman was a lovely, sweet and quiet man whom we would describe as the salt of the earth. He and Aggie loved the simple things in life and especially their family and their little piece of heaven in St. Veronica's. On our visits there we always felt their welcoming warmth and the "warmth" of their kitchen stove. And who could forget the card games and the wonderful big feeds! His children cherished him dearly and he was so proud of all of them. We feel very fortunate to be part of his beautiful family as our son, Terry, is his son-in-law having married his daughter, Michelle, and thus we share our beautiful grand-daughter, Lily. Treasure all your wonderful memories made together there in St. Veronica's in your family home and out on your beautiful beach around many campfires and other events over the years! Our hearts are with you all at this very sad time. However, amid the sadness, we know that you are relieved that he is now resting in peace with his family gone before him. Big warm hugs to you all! Sincerely, Tom and Theresa Ennis
