It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Davis announce her passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Centre, Harbour Breton, NL on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at the age of 80. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Colin Cokes (Millie), Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL, Shawn Davis (Melinda), St. Alban’s, NL, Jason Davis (Tammy), Ottawa, ON, Cory Davis (Krista), Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL, Corinne Davis (Todd Crant), Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL; 12 grandchildren; sisters: Harriet (Michael McDonald), St. Alban’s, NL, Myrtle (Harold Pelley), Glenwood, NL, Amelia (Roland Vallis), Isle Aux Morts, NL, Alice Davis, Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL, Cora (Derrick Eastman), Glenwood, NL, Secina (Sean Byrne), Mobile, NL; brothers: John Cokes, Appleton, NL, Edward Cokes (Shirley), Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL, Lloyd Cokes (Betty), Head of Bay d’Espoir, NL, George Cokes (Ivy), Dartmouth, NS, Adolphus Cokes (France), Calgary, AB, as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Albert Davis; brother Norman Cokes; sister in law: Frances Cokes; brother in law: James Davis. Funeral service on Friday February 24, 2023 at 2 pm at Christ Anglican Church, Milltown-Head of Bay d’Espoir with Rev. Sandra Roberts officiating. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Headof Bay d’Espoir, NL. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
