As we bid farewell to our beloved Elizabeth Sarah Ann Combdon, let each of us hold onto the joy, of the love we shared throughout the years.

Born at just 2.5 lbs Elizabeth was born a fighter. Her strength will be remembered by all who knew her. May her determination and courage carry on within the lives of her descendants. She was a devoted Christian and found joy and hope in singing God’s praise.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, great aunt, cousin, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend to all who crossed her path

Elizabeth peacefully passed at Bethell Hospice, Inglewood, ON with her family by her side on March 26th at the age of 89

She is predeceased by her parents: John & Caroline (Gale) Davis; brothers: Harold Davis, Francis Davis & Nathan Davis; loving husband: Cosmo Combdon; daughters: Naomi Combdon & Eileen Canning.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Gilbert Combdon (Elaine), George Combdon, Nina (Glen Fradsham), Ivan Combdon (Melody0, John Combdon (Brenda), Anita (Tony Bloom), Margaret (Bruce Gorman), David Combdon (Jeanette), Roger Combdon (Pamela), Norman Combdon (Josephine), Darryl Combdon (Angela), Gloria (Keith Reid), Kelly (Cyril Brenton) & Jackie (Kenneth Johnston).

Her 41 grandchildren: Collette, Leah, Charlene, Eugene, Brendan, Shannon, Leanne, Christopher, Georgina, Amanda, Ryan, Monica, Angela, Brent, Heather, Candice, Billy, Lorraine, Samuel, David, Jason, Pamela, Chad, Ashley, Chantelle, Stephen, Chelsea, Olivia, Alexander, Kassandra, Amy, Hayley, Emily, Sophie, Sarah, Victoria, Rebecca, Melissa, Kendra, Jessica, & Isabella as well as their significant others.

As well as her 55 great grandchildrenand 1 great-graet grandchild.

Words cannot describe how much Elizabeth will be missed by all knew her. Elizabeth ias you enter into the house of the Lord let us send you off with these final words “Love You, Love you, Love you”.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11am at Sop’s Arm Pentecostal Church with Pastor Terry Grimes and Rev. Charlene Laing officiating. The interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Pollard’s Point. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
