Being a stranger to St. Joseph's Cove, I was welcomed immediately by Beat and Ben and became friends with them immediately. Walking with Beat every day became very special, fun-filled days with lots of laughter. On some occasions, we would walk in the woods road where we were sometimes excited and startled to encounter wildlife such as grouse, moose and the occasional bear. Since we moved from St. Joseph's Cove, thoughts of Beat and our walks, laugher and friendship cross my mind frequently. These will always be a special memory for me.
