It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rosemary Staeben announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at the age of 87. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Rev. Sandra Staeben Roberts, Head of Bay d’Esapoir, NL, Danica (Leveson Kearley), Milltown, NL & Paul (Amanda), St. Alban’s, NL; grandchildren: Ryan, Leah, Jeffrey, Ashley, Stephen & Christopher; great-grandchildren: Ethan, Avery, Jack, Hudson, Everett & Caleb; sisters: Eleanor (Ewald Shaéfer), Germany, Nita (Fred Burden), Millton, NL; brothers: Fred Strickland (Laura), Milltown, NL, Junior Strickland (Edith), Milltown, NL, Claude Strickland (Mary), Milltown & David Strickland (Yvonne), Milltown, NL; sisters in law: Gen Strickland, Gander, NL & Eileen Strickland, St. John’s, NL as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Klaus; Brothers: Howard Strickland, Sid Strickland & Alexander Strickland; son in law: Dean Roberts. Funeral service will be held at a later date at Christ Anglican Church, Milltown. Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
