It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thomas Burt announce his passing at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s, NL on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the age of 78. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Cindy (Levison Young), St. Alban’s, NL & Daniel Burt (Tara), Cochrane, AB; grandchildren: Julie Young, Lucas Young & Griffin Burt; brother: David Burt (Maude), Corner Brook, NL; sister: Kay (Max Rice), Newville, NL, as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife: Ethet Burt; parents: Cecil & Marjorie Burt. Funeral service on Friday June 14, 2023 at 10:30am at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban’s, with Father Tom Duffenais officiating. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
