It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Benoit announce her passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Centre, Harbour Breton, NL on Saturday August 31, 2024 at the age of 81. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Sherry (Pat Jeddore), Conne River, NL, Bob Benoit (Starlene), Conne River, NL, Jocelyn (Rory Jeddore), Gander, NL, Evan Benoit (Amanda), Craig Benoit & Christa Benoit all of Conne River, NL; grandchildren: Devin, Daniel, Mitchell, Parker, Delaney, Destiny & Damien; great-grandchildren: Luke & Ciara; sister in law: Mildred McDonald, St. Alban’s, NL, Linda McDonald, Conne River, Conne River, NL & Eileen McDonald, St. Fintons, NL, as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Damien Benoit; daughter: Melva Benoit; sisters: Rose Walsh, Theresa Collier & Marina Keats; brothers: Chesley McDonald, Bert McDonald, Clem McDonald, Gerald McDonald & Johnny McDonald. Funeral service on Friday September 6, 2024 at 2 pm at St. Anne’s R. C. Church Conne River, with Father Tom Duffenais officiating. Interment at the R. C. Cemetery, Conne River.
