It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dorothy Organ announce her passing at her residence, St. Veronica's, NL on Friday, May 13, 2016 at the age of 92. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Helen (Gerry Glavine), St. John's, NL, David (Eileen), St, Veronica's, NL, Joseph (Maureen), Ramea, NL, Lucy (Lloyd Organ), St. Alban's, NL, Loretta (John McDonald), St. Veronica's, NL & Clem (Lois), Medecine Hat, AB; daughter in law: Loretta Organ, St. Alban's, NL; 19 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; caregivers: Jackie Caines & Donna Taylor as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Lawrence; children: Patrick, Frank & Anne; sisters: Edith Caines & Bridget Organ; brother: Ronald Kearley. The funeral service was held on Wednesday May 18, 2016 at 11 am at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's, with Father Edward Brophy officiating.Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
