It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roderick Benoit announce his passing at his residence, Conne River, NL on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at the age of 49. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his mother: Regina (Gilbert Organ), St. Alban's, NL; brother: Kenneth White, Lewisporte, NL; sisters: Vivian (Joe Carey), Fortune Harbour, NL, Darlene (Glenn Spurrell), Grand Forest, BC & Victoria (Jarrett McDonald), Conne River, NL, as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father: Peter Benoit; brother: Michael Benoit; grandparents: Susan & Matthew Benoit, Rebecca & Michael Willcott. The funeral service was held on Tuesday June 14, 2016 at 11 am at St. Anne's R. C. Church, Conne River, with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Conne River. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
