It is with great sadness that the family of the late Katie Collier announce her passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Centre, Harbour Breton, NL on Wednesday November 2, 2016 at the age of 85. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Jerry (Kathy), St. Alban's, NL, Melita (Kim Kubis), Kingsville, ON, Marjorie (George Strickland), Milltown, NL, Roy (Phillis), St. Alban's, NL & Betty (Paul Degagne), Timmons, ON; 9 grandchildren: 8 great-grandchildren; sisters: Joan Willcott, Botwood, NL & Philomena Barnes, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; sister in law: Mary Snook, St. Alban's, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: David; great-grandson: Joey David; sister: Zeta Snook; brothers: Bernard Snook, Jack Snook, Sam Snook, Isadore Snook, Hubert Snook, Thomas Snook, Henry Snook, Primus Snook, Edmund Snook & James Snook. Funeral service on Saturday November 5, 2016 at 11am at St. Ignatius R. C. Church St. Alban's, with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment at the R. C. Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
