Obituary of Joan Kendall

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joan Kendall of Morrisville, NL announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Monday, February 13, 2017 at the age of 84. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Elizabeth (Gilbert Hollett), Morrisville, NL, Karen (Edward Hoskins), Labrador City, NL, Katherine (Jerry Collier), St. Alban's, NL, Ronald (Joan), Labrador City, NL, Helena (Chris Collier), St. Alban's, NL, Colin (Mila), Edmonton, AB, Rodney (Yvette), Churchill Falls, NL, Pamela Kendall (Glenn Jodolin), Kingston, ON, Dorinda (Bill Hildreth), Emburn, ON, Paula (Gord Kearley), Morrisville, NL & Trina (Joe Kearley), St. Veronica's, NL; 23 grandchildren: 9 great-grandchildren; son in law: Donald Way , Scarborough, ON; sisters: Frances Fewer, Marystown, NL, Muriel Benoit, St. Alban's, NL; brothers: Michael Farrell, Martin Farrell, Robert Farrell (Margaret), all of St. Alban's, NL; brother in law: Michael Collier, St. Alban's, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Ronald; daughter: Deborah Way; son: Jimmy; great grandson: Joey Collier; sister: Anne Collier; brothers: Howard Farrell, Thomas Farrell; sisters in law: Bernadette Farrell, Effie Farrell; brothers in law: William Fewer, Thomas Benoit; parents: Martin & Agnes Farrell. Funeral service on Friday February 17, 2017 at 2:30 pm at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's, with Father David Joy officiating. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
