It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sarah Myrtle Coombs (nee Strickland) announces her passing at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's, NL on Tuesday March 21, 2017 at the age of 88. She is predeceased by her husband Charlie, parents Hannah & John and brothers Bert & Ches. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories of her love for life and laughter, her children, Kevin (Brenda), Helen - Sis, Wanda Hoskins (Herb), Terry (Catherine); grandchildren, Krista, Nancy, Julie, Stephen, Leah, Andrew & Kevin; great-grandchildren, Victoria, Kimberly, Jared, Katie & Tyson; sisters Cora Kendell and Marjorie King and brother Gerald (Bertha) as well as a large circle of greatly loved nieces, nephews and friends. The funeral service will be held at Christ Anglican Church, Milltown on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m with Rev. Roy Simms officiating. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
