It is with great sadness that the family of the late Charles Hynes announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Monday February 3, 2020 at the age of 88 . He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Ruby; children: Peggy (Dean Ralph), Glovertown, NL, Hank (Heather), Sop’s Arm, NL, Sheila (Ted Williams), Coney Arm, NL, June (Lee Rice), Tiny, ON, Graham (Angela), Fort McMurray, AB, Jacqueline (Donald Pittman), Fort McMurray, AB & Nola (Gordon Pittman), St. John’s, NL; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister: Rachel Pardy, Wild Cove, NL; sisters in law: Audrey Hynes, Brier, WA, Barbara Hynes, Edmonton, AB & Claudine Hynes, Sop’s Arm, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers: Joseph, Frank, Harris & Edgar; sisters: Clarissa Hynes & Maude Hynes; parents: William & Emma; stepfather; Simon Ricks. Funeral service on Friday February 7, 2020 at 2pm at Sop’s Arm Pentecostal Church, with Pastor Tyrone Ball officiating. Interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Sop’s Arm. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
