It is with great sadness that the family of the late Laura Strickland announce her passing at the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Tuesday July 2, 2024 at the age of 89. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband: Frederick; children: Glenn Strickland, Milltown, NL, Bruce (Mona), Addison, ON, Terence (Bonnie), Chilliwack, BC & Valerie (Ted Heath), Springdale, NL; grandchildren: Michael (Isabelle) Janine & Cole (Natasha); great–grandchildren: Felix & Luca, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sisters: Naomi Courtney, Ruby Bulbrook, Amelia Strickland & Betty Buffett; brother: Samuel Stickland; parents: Sarah & Philip Stickland. Funeral service on Saturday July 6, 2024 at 2pm at Christ Anglican Church, Milltown with Rev. Tryphena Vallis officiating, Interment to follow at Christ Anglican Cemetery, Milltown.
