It is with great sadness that the family of the late Laura Strickland announce her passing at the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Tuesday July 2, 2024 at the age of 89. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband: Frederick; children: Glenn Strickland, Milltown, NL, Bruce (Mona), Addison, ON, Terence (Bonnie), Chilliwack, BC & Valerie (Ted Heath), Springdale, NL; grandchildren: Michael (Isabelle) Janine & Cole (Natasha); great–grandchildren: Felix & Luca, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sisters: Naomi Courtney, Ruby Bulbrook, Amelia Strickland & Betty Buffett; brother: Samuel Stickland; parents: Sarah & Philip Stickland. Funeral service on Saturday July 6, 2024 at 2pm at Christ Anglican Church, Milltown with Rev. Tryphena Vallis officiating, Interment to follow at Christ Anglican Cemetery, Milltown. Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
